They are handcarved from acacia wood also known as monkey pod or rain tree.
This tree is prolific and is managed on plantations to sustain supply.
As each item is individually carved there will be minor variations
Part of the appeal of this statue is it's handmade nature.
It is crafted using a natural product using hand tools in the traditional way.
As such please accept that there may be minor imperfections in the wood which add to it's authenticity and ensure you are not purchasing a generic, factory-made product.
