Very nice very early large Kingswood/Grayshott pottery vase with fine rib design with cream glaze on a stoneware body circa 1950s - 1970s, excellent new like condition. 7 inch high x 8 inch wide. KP ENGLAND stamped mark on the base.

Grayshott Pottery, established in 1956, has always been associated with art. The pottery emerged from the old Kingswood Pottery in the village/hamlet of Brook in Surrey, with connections to Compton Pottery, which was started by Mary Watts, wife of the great Victorian painter, G. F. Watts.
